I just viewed the trailer for the new James Bond movie, Casino Royale. Finally! A James Bond movie to get excited about. I haven’t been too thrilled with the past few years’ productions of Ian Flemings series. Really, how can you beat Sean Connery and Roger Moore in the role of Bond.
The past couple of actors have been disappointing to me. I will always picture Pierce Brosnan in the role of Remington Steel. I could never get over that. And the other guy, Timothy Dalton, he just seemed like a drunk. The class of the bond series just wasn’t there for me like Connery and Moore used to bring. Up steps Daniel Craig. I like this actor. He’s a tough guy. I enjoyed him in layer cake. It’ll be interesting to see if he can pull off the one-liners effectively. I’ve heard some complaints that his hair wasn’t dark enough for the role. Who cares. Eva Green, a Paris native, is the sweetheart in this production. Haven’t seen her in any flicks, but I like her look.
Sure, how can you beat the 1967 version of Casino Royale. You can’t. Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress, David Niven, Orson Welles, Woody Allen, John Huston.
We’ll see how this version of the James Bond classic stacks up. The new movie looks like its full of action, as any James Bond flick should be. Check out the trailer and let me know what you think.

I’ve also heard that a new Spiderman 3 movie trailer will appear with the Casino Royale premiere on Nov. 17th, 2006. Sony pictures will probably attach another Spiderman 3 trailer to Ghost Rider when it hits the theater in February. [...]
