The movie ‘The Departed‘ is set in Boston, where the state police are fighting organized crime. Undercover policeman Billy Costigan, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, is assigned to penetrate the mob syndicate run by gangland chief Costello (Jack Nicholson). Jack hasbeen nominated for 12 Academy Awards. Some home run actors star in this film.

Martin Scorsese directs the movie. Internal Affairs was a movie that was similar a few years ago. The Departed, with the almost same storyline looks to do better with the great cast. Looks like Academy Awards Oscar bait for Hollywood. Matt Damon from Team America fame, and Marky Mark Wahlberg also star.

I’m looking forward to watching this action movie.
