The movie “The Hurt Locker”, is based on journalist Mark Boal‘s personal experiences of traveling with a bomb squad during wartime.

Starring Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Brian Geraghty, Guy Pearce, and Ralph Fiennes, the action of this movie takes the bomb squad around the war-torn and dangerous streets in the country of Iraq.

The army is in charge of making Iraq a safer place for its civilians. These bomb dismantlers face the threat of not only dismantling explosive devices, but the constant danger of getting shot by a sniper.

When these three bomb squad boys tackle an IED in Baghdad, it’s liable to send one of them into what’s called, “The Hurt Locker”.
