The movie started out with plenty of promise, but fell short of my expectations.

This story begins with an exploration of Robin Longstride’s origin. It moves into Robin’s homecoming from the holy wars, and the plight that awaits him back in Nottingham.

The action was typical of a 237 million-dollar blockbuster, and Friar Tuck’s fascination for making mead reminded me of days gone by when I brewed up a batch in advanced biology. We didn’t get to drink it then because I was in high school.

There were too many characters, and introductions along the way. It kind of became a mess.

Russell Crowe played a gladiator type of character. While I always like him, I wonder if this would’ve been better with someone younger.

I would give Robin Hood three out of four stars.

Directed by Ridley Scott, this adaptation of the story of Robin Hood tells how a simple archer in King Richard the Lionheart’s kingdom became known as the legend of Robin Hood.

The army is in charge of making Iraq a safer place for its civilians. These bomb dismantlers face the threat of not only dismantling explosive devices, but the constant danger of getting shot by a sniper.

When these three bomb squad boys tackle an IED in Baghdad, it’s liable to send one of them into what’s called, “The Hurt Locker”.

Quentin Tarantino’s latest film was unveiled today with the release of it’s first movie trailer. Starring Brad Pitt as a Nazi-killing commander, Inglorious Basterds will open in theatres on August 21, 2009.

“In German-occupied France, Shosanna Dreyfus witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa. Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris, where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema. This should be quite the visual foray for fans of blood and glory if Tarantinio lives up to his reputation.
